Terms of Service
Terms for the apps and games published by MonkeyDoor
1. Acceptance of the terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply to the Android apps and games published by MonkeyDoor (“MonkeyDoor”, “we”, “us”) on Google Play (the “Apps”). By downloading, installing or using an App you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not install or use the App.
2. About MonkeyDoor and the Apps
MonkeyDoor is an independent developer, not a company. The Apps are created with the assistance of artificial intelligence tools (for example for code, text, images or audio), under our direction and review.
Because of this, errors or bugs may occur. If you find a problem, please report it through the contact form and we will correct it as soon as reasonably possible.
We do not intend to copy other apps or works. If you believe that an App resembles or infringes your work, please let us know through the contact form: we will review your report and, where appropriate, change or remove the content concerned.
3. Licence
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use each App on your Android devices for your own non-commercial entertainment, in accordance with these Terms and the Google Play Terms of Service. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- copy, modify, decompile, reverse engineer or create derivative works from an App, except where the law expressly allows it;
- remove or alter copyright or other proprietary notices;
- use cheats, automation, or any method to gain an unfair advantage or disrupt the experience of other players;
- sell, rent, sublicense or redistribute an App or its content;
- use an App for any unlawful purpose.
5. Intellectual property
The Apps, including their code, artwork, music, sounds, text, names and logos, are owned by MonkeyDoor or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Using an App does not give you any ownership of it or of its content. Third-party names and trademarks belong to their respective owners.
6. Advertising and third-party services
The Apps are free to download and play. Most Apps are supported by advertising and rely on third-party services such as Google Play services and Google AdMob. Those services are governed by their own terms and policies, and we are not responsible for them. Details on how data is handled are in our Privacy Policy.
7. Purchases
The Apps are otherwise free. The only in-app purchase we offer is an optional one-time purchase that removes advertising. Purchases, billing, refunds and the restoring of purchases are handled entirely by Google Play and are subject to Google’s payment and refund policies. Where the law gives you a right of withdrawal or refund, that right is not affected.
8. Game data and progress
Game progress and settings are normally stored on your device. Uninstalling an App, clearing its data or changing device may result in the loss of that data. We are not obliged to back up or restore it.
9. Updates and availability
We may update, change, suspend or discontinue an App, or part of it, at any time, for example to fix issues, add features or comply with the law. Some updates may be required to keep using the App.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Apps are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted or error-free operation. Nothing in these Terms affects any warranty that cannot be excluded under mandatory consumer protection law.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MonkeyDoor will not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for loss of data or profits, arising from the use of or inability to use an App. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for intent or gross negligence.
12. Termination
You may stop using an App at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or end your right to use an App if you breach these Terms. Sections that by their nature should continue (such as intellectual property, disclaimers and liability) survive termination.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version is always available on this page, and continued use of an App after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Italy. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live.
15. Contact
If you have any questions about these Terms, please contact us.
